Invest In Annuities With Confidence
Annuities are a unique investment opportunity that many people overlook. They may have heard that annuities are complicated or not useful for most people. Find out for yourself if annuities are right for you.
There are a couple of questions you should ask yourself first. Are you looking for immediate retirement money or are you planning ahead for the future? What other investments do you currently have, if any? Is there a chance that you will need large sums of money in the near future; perhaps for medical bills or long term care?
There are two types of annuities, deferred and immediate. Under these two categories there are even more specific types of annuities. Once you choose the annuity you want, most states require a free-look provision. This provision generally will give the contract holder 10 days from the date of purchase to cancel an annuity contract and receive a refund.
