Presidential Race: Is Health Insurance taking a Back Seat?

As you probably know, the presidential race between John McCain and Barack Obama is heating up. That being said, do you get the feeling that some topics are being discussed more than others? As of late, the two candidates have been talking a lot about national security, the war, and taxes. But what about health insurance? Is this important detail taking a back seat to others? Hopefully the answer to this question is a resounding no.

Right now, there are more than 47 million Americans who do not have health insurance coverage. Are you one of them? If so, you are probably keeping a close eye on the presidential candidates. After all, you may want to vote for the one that is going to give you the best chance of securing health insurance coverage. Even those of you that have health insurance will want to think deeply about which candidate is best. After all, you may have coverage but it may not be what you are looking for.

Although the topic of health insurance may have taken a back seat over the past few weeks, this is bound to change in the near future. The country wants to know what is next for health insurance and health care, and the next president must address this problem. It is safe to say that no matter who wins the White House, one of their first tasks is going to be tackling the health insurance crisis. The question is: which candidate is best for the job, and how do they plan on making things better? When they finally get around to discussing this topic in more depth, everybody is sure to find out.
