Workers Overestimate Their Disability Benefits
A survey conducted in 2004 showed some surprising findings among full-time employees' beliefs and attitudes about disability.
- Almost 50 percent of those surveyed were not concerned about the possibility of becoming disabled and unable to make a living
- One-third of workers age thirty and up will become disabled for three months or more
- 58 percent believed they had some sort of disability coverage but in reality only one-third of workers in the United States have disability insurance coverage
Don't let an accident, injury or illness derail your financial stability. You can find affordable disability insurance by looking for quotes from different companies. The easiest way to do this is to use the quote request form on InsuranceBureau. We can connect you with different insurance providers in your area so you can receive multiple quotes without a lot of work.
